Dr. Tarrah Bowen, MD FAAP is a compassionate pediatrician originally from Maine. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Middlebury College in 2009 before earning her Medical Degree (MD) from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2014, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Bowen completed her Pediatric Residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, where she served as Chief Resident. After completing her training, Dr. Bowen and her family moved to Phoenix to be closer to family. She has been providing exceptional care to children and their families in the Phoenix area since 2019.
Dr. Bowen is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with her patients and their families. She values partnering with families to help their children thrive, providing support and guidance every step of the way. She has a particular interest in newborn care, breastfeeding medicine, and managing children with complex medical conditions.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bowen is committed to mentoring the next generation of physicians. She remains active in teaching both medical students and residents. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), she stays at the forefront of pediatric care, ensuring her patients receive the best possible treatment.
When not at work, Dr. Bowen enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, yoga, traveling, baking, and exploring all that the Phoenix area has to offer.
