Dr. Nadia Day is originally from Illinois where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois. After completing medical school at the Southern Illinois University of Medicine, she moved to Phoenix where she finished her pediatric training at Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center Residency Program. During her last year of training, she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Day is proud to be an active member of our community. She has won awards from the local chapter of the March of Dimes and currently serves on the executive board of the Greater Phoenix Pediatric Society. Dr. Day is board certified and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been voted a “Top Doc” by Phoenix Magazine. Dr. Day has also received the Patient’s Choice Award and the Compassionate Award by Vitals.com. She has a special interest in pediatric obesity prevention and postnatal care of preterm infants.
On her days off she enjoys hiking, tennis, yoga, running, and traveling to exotic places with her husband Tim and her 3 young children. You may also find her cheering on her beloved Fighting Illini and Chicago Cubs.
